Flowers in Spring

 

Here are some of the flowers and shrubs around the front and side of my home.  As I walked out the front door, this is what greets me.  Mom, planted many of these iris's back a few years ago, now I get to enjoy them.  I need to weed eat up around the house in the flower beds.

Him Mowing?

 

Yes, he finally got on the mower just to prove me wrong.  I thought that the battery had run down but he did the manly thing and showed me that the cables were loose.  So, it started right off and he had to show off his skills of mowing the lawn.  Ha, ha!

Mowing Time

 

Caught in the act of mowing.  He thinks he can out do me.......ha, ha, I mowed all the other parts of the yard until it choked out on high clover.

Weeds

These are some of the dandelions growing in my yard.  I understand that these are edible in salads or cooked like spinach and other greens.

Red Rose

New buds are about to open and soon the climbing red rose bush will be full of blooms.
